The awards are run by the Viet Nam Cinema Association's Centre for Assistance and Development of Movie Talents (TPD).
In the documentary section, producers Phan Dang Di, Nguyen Trinh Thi and French film editor Julie Beziau awarded a gold prize to Ban La Ai? (Who Are You?) by Hoang Huyen My.
The audience prize went to Cho Toi Mot Ve Di Tuoi Tho (Give Me a Ticket Back to Childhood) by Nguyen Minh Phuong.
The documentary film Hanh Trinh (Journey) by Pham Quoc Dung and feature film Lam Ban Ma (Being a Ghost's Friend) by Do Thanh Ha took the silver prizes.
The TPD's special prize went to the documentary Hai Giot Nuoc (Two Drops of Water) by Nguyen Ngoc Viet, a young student.
The Golden Lotus Bud awards were launched by the TPD to encourage young film-makers.
