HA NOI (Biz Hub) — Viet Nam will play their first match against host China at the Asian Women's Volleyball Championship tomorrow (September 6) in Shenzhen City.

Viet Nam are in Group A, which also has South Korea and Iran.

Group B comprises Thailand, Japan, Chinese Taipei and Kazakhstan.

Vietnamese coach Pham Van Long is bringing several young players to the tournament to test their skills as they would eventually replace the senior players in the team.

The tournament will end on September 12. — VNS
