The Breton Society in Viet Nam will celebrate Breton Day 2015 in Ha Noi
on Friday and Saturday, bringing together an itinerary of Brittany
cultural activities and entertainment.
To celebrate the annual cultural day of Viet Nam''s
ethnic groups, representatives of their communities met in Ha Noi to
launch of a seminar and exhibition titled I Believe I Can – Changes from the Community.
"Watercolour is a language, an instrument. It is the way to share what I
feel about life," said internationally known American artist Stan
Miller at the first large-scale watercolour exhibition held in Ha Noi by
the Viet Nam International Watercolour Society (IWS).
A campaign calling to end the use of rhino horn to cure cancer brought
together a Vietnamese-American Hollywood actress, a
Vietnamese-Australian singer-songwriter, a representative from the
Customs Department and the chairman of Viet Nam''s Cancer Society.
Doan Lien Huong and her classmates eagerly awaited
their upcoming Japanese class, a special lesson that would be learned by
watching a classic Japanese opera instead of reading textbooks.
The Viet Nam Literature Copyright Centre (VLCC) and the Korean Society
of Authors (KOSA) signed an agreement to increase bilateral co-operation
on copyright issues in Ha Noi on Tuesday.
The second Companion of Development press award was launched yesterday
to honour kindness between people and reinforce the belief in a
civilised society, said Le Quang Binh, director of the Institute for
Studies of Society, Economics and Environment (iSEE).
Pop singer Thu Minh will attend the official launch of
#WhoseSideAreYouOn, a new project of the United for Wildlife campaign,
and commit her involvement in protecting wildlife.
