Viet Nam are taking part in the 28th Southeast Asian (SEA) Games with
their best badminton players who are expected to defend their two bronze
medals in Singapore.
Viet Nam won three bronze medals in the age group event at the ongoing
World Aerobic Gymnastics Championships and World Age Group competitions
from June 23-29 in Cancun, Mexico.
Vietnamese women''s and men''s teams won bronze medals at the rapid event
in the ongoing 2014 Asian Nations Cup (Open and Women''s Chess Team
Championships) in Tabriz, Iran on Thursday.
Viet Nam martial artists won eight gold, nine
silver and three bronze medals at the 15th Pencak Silat World
Championships which ended yesterday in Chiang Rai, Thailand.
Duong Huy Khai, an American-Vietnamese chef,
outcooked 200 other leading chefs from 30 countries and territories to
win the gold medal at the International Beijing Culinary Competition,
which ended last week.
