Dozens of singers and theatre artists will perform in a cultural
exchange at the HCM Television Theatre on Sunday to raise funds for
soldiers stationed in frontier areas and on the Truong Sa (Spratly)
archipelago.
The Hard Rock Cafe Vietnam is now featuring The Queen band every
Thursday night. The band, consisting of nine Vietnamese and Filipino
singers and musicians, will play Latin and rock music.
Dozens of famous singers will take part tonight in a free music
programme in memory of veteran composers Phan Huynh Dieu and Phan Nhan,
who both passed away in HCM City late last month, at the HCM City Music
Conservatory.
More than 200 singers, dancers, musicians, and theatre performers in HCM
City are featured in a performance on a DVD released on February 14 for
Lunar New Year.
Vietnamese-American singer and composer Trinh Nam
Son will stage a solo performance in HCM City this Saturday at a special
show for fans celebrating his 30-year career.
Dozens of singers and musicians will perform the works of late
songwriter Trinh Cong Son at a free outdoor concert in praise of love
and friendship in HCM City on April 5.
Tet was a busy time for comedians and pop singers in
HCM City as hundreds of concerts and other shows were organised for two
weeks as part of the New Year revelry.
A special concert gathering singers and artists from six countries and
territories in North East Asia will raise its curtain on December 26 and
27 at the Ha Noi Opera House.
A music concert to raise money for charity titled Keep the Dream Alive will be held on July 14 in Ha Noi featuring leading pop singers including Duy Khoa and Minh Vuong.
