Professional international belly dancers Angela Kim from South Korea,
Julia Torgonkar from Ukraine and Daila Klara Jansikova from the Czech
Republic will take part in the second Viet Nam Belly Dance Festival in
HCM City from July 10 to 12.
Ha Noi will hold the fourth dragon dance festival this Saturday, as part
of a series of cultural activities to celebrate the 60th anniversary of
the city''s liberation on October 10.
Graceful traditional dance, entertaining music and clever gestures by
Chinese, South Korean and Vietnamese dancers made a grand opening at the
first International Dance Festival in Hue on Monday evening.
HCM City will host the fourth Open Dance Festival on August 5,
attracting hundreds of veteran and young dancers from 22 art troupes and
dance schools in the city and other provinces.
Tango dance festival Saigon Tango Bliz from April 27 to May 6 will
feature performances of international dancers, including Pablo and
Noelia Giogini and Guillermo Claure from Argentina, and Asian Champion
in 2012 Park Jiwon and Lee Inkyoung from South Korea.
The second Contemporary Dance Festival will take
place tonight and tomorrow night at the Youth Theatre in Ha Noi,
offering the public an occasion to enjoy original contemporary dance
pieces from Viet Nam, Belgium and Germany.
