During the past two years, Vietnamese football fans and reporters have
become familiar with the sight of a Japanese freelance photojournalist
standing on the pitches in Viet Nam, taking photos of local footballers
and supporting them.
Calligraphy is no longer only a man''s occupation in Viet Nam, but the
image of a woman sitting and donating words to passersby is somehow
still unusual to many people.
Two Japanese calligraphers, along with a Vietnamese calligrapher who has
been their tutor for nearly a year, are holding a joint exhibition
titled Duyen (Predestined Affinity), displaying 60 of their works in HCM City.
