medals for the Viet Nam sports delegation at the coming 28th Southeast
Asian (SEA) Games in Singapore next month.

Championships in Malaysia.
Viet Nam''s fencers won two gold medals out of two on
the first day of the Southeast Asia Fencing Federation''s Championship
at Phan Dinh Phung Gymnasium yesterday.
Fencing is not a popular sport in Viet Nam, resulting in a limited number of training facilities. Nguyen Tien Nhat''s inclusion at the London Olympics has provided a boost for both athletes and fans.
Vietnamese fencer Nguyen Tien Nhat will know on
Friday if he is to face one or two of the Olympic Games strongest
fencing competitors in the first round in London.
Nguyen Tien Nhat will leave for the Philippines to
take part in the Asian Under 23 Fencing Championships, which kick off on
June 2, ahead of his participation at the London Olympics.
Fencer Nguyen Tien Nhat has added his name among
other Vietnamese Olympians after competing in the Fencing London Olympic
Asia & Oceania Final Qualifying Tournament which wrapped up in
Wakayama, Japan on Saturday.
