On the occasion of the 70th anniversary celebrations
of Viet Nam''s National Day (September 2), Lao National Television
officially broadcasted the first news-bulletin in Vietnamese to further
strengthen the relationship between Laos and Viet Nam.
Noted Canadian painter Jean-Mauriece Gelinas handed his painting of
President Ho Chi Minh to Vietnamese ambassador to Canada To Anh Dung on
the occasion of Viet Nam''s National Day.
