About 4,000 primary school students in the southern province of Binh
Duong will get an opportunity to read books and participate in
story-telling competitions this year.
Three Vietnamese piano students scooped up the top prize in three out of
five categories at the Val Tidone International Music Competitions,
which wrapped up in Milan on Monday.
Vietnamese photographer Tran Viet Van won a silver
medal in the Fine Art – Nudes category of the Prix de la Photographie
Paris (Px3) photo contest for a series of five photos entitled Memory.
Viet Nam will organise three international chess competitions this year. The
first one, HDBank Cup Open Chess Tournament, will be held from March
1-8 in HCM City, where the winners are set walk away with a bonus of
US$30,000.
