Search engine Skyscanner, which enables people to compare flights,
hotels and others, has listed Da Nang in its Top 10 Cheap Destinations
for Summer 2015.
Singapore Airlines will begin direct flights to the central city of Da
Nang starting in the second quarter of next year. An existing service
between the two places now goes through Siem Reap in Cambodia.
Vietnam Airlines and the HCM City Tourism
Association have announced that prices would fall again this year in
order to stimulate demand, according to Thoi Bao Kinh Te Sai Gon (Sai
Gon Economic Times) magazine.
Budget carriers Jetstar Pacific and Air Mekong are adding more flights
from HCM City and Ha Noi to tourist destinations around the country to
meet the surging demand for air travel, particularly during weekends.
