A lacquer painting by noted Vietnamese artist, the late Nguyen Gia Tri,
was the second-most expensive work to be sold at the Larasati Auction
in Singapore last weekend.
During the harvest, the moon over Viet Nam changes its appearance
constantly, which has become a source of inspiration for husband-wife
artist duo Christiane Campioni and Tobias Kuester Campioni.
Residents of the capital will have a chance to experience distinctive
art works by acclaimed Vietnamese artists including leading lacquer
painter Nguyen Gia Tri at an exhibition that opened yesterday at the
Viet Nam Fine Arts Museum.
