Amateur troupes from seven provinces are performing Vietnamese
traditional art forms, recognised as world cultural non-intangible
heritage by UNESCO, in Thanh Hoa Province.
The non-profit organisation Wildlife At Risk (WAR) in coordination with
the HCM City Department of Education and Training has published a
bilingual comic book Gab''s Story to educate young students about wildlife protection in Viet Nam.
A series of cultural and tourism events is taking
place in Mu Cang Chai District in the northern province of Yen Bai,
celebrating the region''s beautiful terraced landscapes and rich ethnic

The 10th Autumn Melodies Arts Festival to be held at
the HCM City Opera House later this month will feature more than 100

Huynh Thanh Thao of Cu Chi District, HCM City, who has congenital
brittle bone disease, was astonished to see a Youtube clip of a person
in a wheelchair dancing together with a non-disabled partner.
A charity dinner will be hosted on October 24 by KOTO, a non-profit
vocational training programme and restaurant supporting disadvantaged
youth in Viet Nam. The dinner will take place at KOTO Van Mieu, 59 Van
Mieu Street.
A photography contest called Non La Que Huong
(Homeland''s Conical Leaf Hat) has been launched for both amateur and
professional photographers in Viet Nam and abroad.
