A ceremony was held at the Hao Nam communal house in Ha Noi yesterday to honour the founders of xam singing, a genre of music and performance popular in rural northern Viet Nam a long time ago.
Ha Noi artists will restore the original art of xam
tau dien (tramway xam singing) in a concert to be held at the
Vietnamese Women''s Museum from Friday to Sunday.
