HÀ NỘI Vietnamese K-Pop fans are rejoicing as YG has announced the next leg of BlackPink's Born Pink World Tour. The dazzling Korean pop act will grace the stage in Việt Nam on July 29-30.
The Born Pink concert will take place at Mỹ Đình Stadium in Hà Nội with tickets on sale from July 7 and thousands of fans are expected to rush online to grab their spot at what will be one of the most anticipated gigs of the year.
BlackPink is a Korean girl supergroup managed by YG Entertainment. They made their debut with the smash-hit single Square One.
They're currently one of the top names in the K-Pop wave, taking the world by storm with their catchy blend of electronic and Korean pop. Many now hold BlackPink as the biggest girl group in the world.

The talented girl group is hugely popular in Việt Nam, and not just for music. The band is also the face of a number of well-known fashion businesses among young people.
The news that the girl group will perform in Việt Nam as part of their Born Pink World Tour piqued the interest of Vietnamese netizens. A sign confirming the show was posted on BlackPink's Facebook page, which has some 20 million followers.
Recent data indicates that Born Pink is the highest-earning tour ever for a group. The Spice Girls previously held this record with their 2019 Spice world tour grossing US$78.2 million.
Even though the group is yet to finish the tour, Born Pink has already made more than US$100 million with 366,000 tickets sold for 26 performances, smashing the Spice Girls' previous record. VNS
