HÀ NỘI — The first qualifying round of the U20 AFC Women’s Football Championship will take place from March 13-21, 2021, replacing the old schedule of March 6-14, 2021.
The Việt Nam Football Federation (VFF) announced the change.
According to the VFF, this adjustment is to avoid match clashes and to fulfill criteria for the age of players of the event’s qualifying round, the U17 FIFA World Cup and U17 Women’s Football Championship 2022.
The registration deadline for attending and hosting these two events is open until July 31, 2020.
Currently, the national women's football tournaments such as the National U19 Women’s Football Championship and National Women’s Football Cup are taking place at the Việt Nam Youth Football Training Centre in Hà Nội.
In August and September, the VFF will hold the National U16 Women’s Football Championships and National Women's Championships. — VNS
