Hoiana invites guests to take part in charity fundraising campaign
QUẢNG NAM — More poor children with heart defects in the central province of Quảng Nam will have a chance to live healthily thanks to the generous donation of gold-hearted sponsors.
A luxurious integrated resort located in Quảng Nam – Hoiana Resort & Golf – has donated VNĐ520 million (about U$21,000) to the “Heartbeat Vietnam” programme founded by VinaCapital Foundation (VCF). The donations were raised through the “One Heart – Thousand Beats” campaign – a partnership between Hoiana and VCF to support the surgery cost for unprivileged children with congenital heart defects.

The campaign aims to raise VNĐ500 million ($20,000) by December 8 to provide heart surgery for 13 disadvantaged children with congenital heart defects and financially support their families.
Within only 15 days of calling for donations, the campaign surpassed its goal by attracting over VNĐ520 million, equivalent to the surgery cost of 14 hearts. Alongside the main contribution from its CSR budget (about VNĐ363 million), the remaining amount came from Hoiana’s executive leaders, staff members and partners.

I would like to sincerely thank you so much for your donations. Your kindness is greatly appreciated by the children and their families,” said President & CEO of Hoiana Resort & Golf, Steve Wolstenholme.
Previously, through the ‘Scar of Life 10’ held in 2022 – the annual fundraising event of Heartbeat Vietnam, Hoiana Resort & Golf contributed VNĐ300 million, equivalent to the cost of heart surgeries for 10 children.
The "One Heart - Thousand Beats" campaign has been introduced alongside the “Seasonal Wonders” programme that Hoiana Resort & Golf runs until February 15, 2024, to celebrate Christmas and New Year. The resort expects their guests will take part in the campaign to spread the spirit of sharing during the holiday season.
