HCM CITY – Book publisher Nhã Nam is organising a book fair until September 11 at the HCM City Youth Culture Centre on 4 Phạm Ngọc Thạch Street, District 1, HCM City.
The fair was organised as part of the reading culture development programme of HCM City government.
Nhã Nam, the organiser of the book fair, will be introducing a list of newly published books, such as The Witcher, The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes (prequel of the hit young adult novel series The Hunger Game).

Flash sales will be available for the whole length of the event with discounts from 30 to 70 per cent on all books.
With each day of the book fair, a special event will also be conducted to give out gifts and other unique offers for buying books at the fair.
Nguyễn Hà Uyên Nhi, a university student who participated in the book fair, said that she went to the book fair because of the gorgeous book covers there, and hoped to find the perfect book for herself.
“I didn't think the first day of the book fair would be so crowded because this morning everyone is still at school and working,” she added.

A local visitor to the book fair said, "I've been to many book fairs that are organised at this location and in HCM City, but I found this to be the largest book fair I've ever been to on the first day."
The fair will be open from 8 am to 10 pm every day. – VNS.
