HOI AN — The Lifestart Foundation (LSF) Educational scholarship Charity Bike Ride 2017, a cycling race raising scholarships for poor students in the central region, will take place April 13-27th of next year.
The race organisers said the cyclists will ride 750km over the course of 10 days, at an average of 75km per day. All rides are fully supported, with rest stops every 15-30km depending on the terrain.
As scheduled, the cycling adventure will begin in Da Nang and wind through the scenic coast, venturing into the famed Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park and along the Ho Chi Minh Trails. Each rider will raise funds for a Lifestart Foundation Educational scholarship recipient. The Lifestart Foundation, based in Hoi An city, has donated a total 2,130 tins of milk to approximately 200 disadvantaged families in Dien Ban town, Hoi An, Tam Ky Orphanage in the central province, and Da Nang city’s Pediatrics and Obstetrics Hospital.
