HCM CITY — HCM City's iconic Turtle Lake Hồ Con Rùa has been identified by the local authority as so important, it needs to be preserved.

Built in 1965, the lake offers as oasis in the centre of busy District 3, a place to chill and get away from the hustle and bustle the daily life that surrounds it.

In the past, a statue of turtle took pride of place in the park and although that's long gone, the name has stayed.
