HA NOI (VNS) — French jazz duo Peirani-Parisien – saxophonist Emile Parisien and accordion player Vincent Peirani – will perform at L'Espace on Saturday.
Both Parisien and Peirani received the Best Musician of the Year award at the Django Reinhardt Awards in 2013. One year later, at the Victoires du Jazz, Peirani won the Best Newcomer of the Year award, and Parisien, the Musician of the Year.
The duo found their shared passion for intoxicating sounds and desire to improvise new jazz made for a harmonious collaboration. Together, they have performed on stages all over Europe and recently released their debut album, Belle Epoque, which pays tribute to the swing of Sidney Bechett.
Their performance at L'Espace will start at 8pm. Tickets cost VND160,000. For L'Espace members and students, tickets cost VND80,000. — VNS
