HA NOI — The 43rd Ha Noi Moi Newspaper Run will be held this Sunday, as nearly 1,200 participants circle Hoan Kiem Lake.
Officials said there has been a 50 percent increase in runners over last year’s contest.
Among those running are hundreds of foreigners, who are working and studying in the city.
Athletes will run in different categories, for both professional and amateur runners. The distances for categories range from one lap around the lake, 1,750m, to three laps of some 8,750m.
The annual event will be live aired on VTV6 channel beginning at 7am. — VNS
