HA NOI — The Ha Noi Run for Children will be held December 11 at Thong Nhat Park in Ha Noi.
The annual event will attract thousands of Hanoians and foreigners taking to help Vietnamese pediatric patients with heart disease and cancer.
This year, People’s Artist Le Khanh, striker Hoang Vu Samson of Ha Noi T&T, Miss Viet Nam 2016 Do My Linh and MC Phan Anh will take part in the event.
The event was established in 2000 as the Terry Fox Run Ha Noi (2000-2008). It has raised nearly VND10 billion to assist underprivileged children at the National Hospital of Pediatrics, Ha Noi Heart Hospital and in the Heart Beat Viet Nam programme of VinaCapital Foundation.
It is co-organised by the Embassy of Canada to Viet Nam in Ha Noi, the Viet Nam-Canada Friendship Association, the Ha Noi Union of Friendship Organisations and several other organizations. — VNS
