HÀ NỘI—Ngô Bảo Nghi rose to the top of the female rankings while Nguyễn Anh Minh and Nguyễn Nhất Long had a brilliant day in the second round of the professional golf tournament DNSE Vietnam Open 2022 at the Skylake Resort and Golf Club in Hà Nội yesterday.
In the men's group, Long had the best score of the day with four birdies and only one bogey for a final of three under par on the day and two under par overall.
On the par five holes, he birdied all four holes.
Long's only bogey came on the fifth, caused by the tee shot in the water.

Nguyễn Anh Minh kept that up with one under par, including two birdies and only one bogey. The two male players with even par results today were Nguyễn Quang Trị and Đỗ Hồng Giang.
In the women's group, Lina Kim had a bad day with a total score of four over par, the Korean golfer hitting seven bogeys. Bảo Nghi had one of the best records with two birdies and four bogeys, bringing the total to +2, rising to the top, and tied for first with Lina Kim. With a difference of 12 strokes, Korean athlete Park Si Eun ranked 3rd.
The second day of DNSE Vietnam Open 2022 ended with the cut falling to 17 over par in the men's group. The 50 male and 12 female athletes continued to enter the third day of the competition. Notable names who could not pass the cut were Andy Chu Minh Đức, Nguyễn Thế Anh (97), and Tăng Nhơn Phú.
The DNSE Vietnam Open 2022, the only tournament in the Vietnam Professional Golf Tournament System (VGA Tour Open) for international golfers outside of Việt Nam, will be closed tomorrow.
The tournament marks the first time that the DNSE Securities Joint Stock Company has sponsored a top sports tournament in the country.VNS
