Nikko Saigon highlights Taiwanese culture

HCM CITY – Master guest Chef Lu Wen Chi and Chef Lin Chih Liang from Taiwan’s Hotel Royal Chiao Hsi will be in HCM City for an exclusive food promotion to highlight the authentic flavours and culture of Taiwan.

The seven-day event starts next Monday (November 11) at Nikko Saigon Hotel as part of the hotel’s Taiwanese cultural exchange programme which features a one-day live Taiwanese cultural performance, meeting the adorable OH Bear mascot, live cooking demonstrations by the two guest chefs and tasting Taiwanese signature dishes.

All food activities will take place at the hotel’s two food outlets: La Brasserie, the hotel’s seafood buffet dining restaurant, and Ming Court, an authentic Chinese restaurant.

Guests will have a chance to savour authentic Taiwanese flavours crafted by the two guest chefs during the event with the must-try specialties at La Brasserie including Taiwanese style lobster, Japanese A5 wagyu beef, and traditional Taiwanese beef noodle paired with an impressive spread of premium seafood.

Meanwhile, lovers of authentic Taiwanese dishes should not miss traditional Taiwanese  favourites at Ming Court such as red yeast braised pork trotter, stir-fried grouper with soybean paste, braised pork in steamed bun, oyster & intestine vermicelli soup and many more. -- VNS
