HA NOI (VNS)- The unique beauty of Ha Noi at night will be revealed in a new photo exhibit by a French photographer at l'Espace on Thursday.
A lover of Viet Nam and Ha Noi, Sebastien Laval has been seduced by the unique charm of Ha Noi when night falls. The artificial lights illuminate the city, making new colours appear and a range of pastel coloured buildings.
The exhibition showcases his photographs taken over several years from 6pm to 6am. The photographs give another side to an often grubby city.
Laval first came to Viet Nam in 1995, attracted by the rich culture of the country and the hospitality of its people. He has spent much time since then taking photos of the different ethnic and tribal groups of Viet Nam.
The opening ceremony of the exhibit will start at 6pm at l'Espace, the French Cultural centre, 24 Trang Tien Street. It will last until January 13. VNS
