HCM CITY — Thai beauty queen Nong Poy arrived at Tan Son Nhat Airport on July 26, starting a two-day visit to Viet Nam.
Mrs World Peace 2017 Phuong Le received her at the airport.
Nong Poy, whose real name is Treechada Marnyaporn, was born in 1985. At a young age, Treechada desired to become a girl and decided to get surgery at 17 years old.
In 2004, she won Miss Tiffany Universal and Miss International Queen and has been one of the leading stars in Thailand’s showbusiness scene. In 2013, she visited Viet Nam for the first time to join a programme hosted by transgender singer Lam Khanh Chi. — VNS
