HÀ NỘI — Two tourism products in Việt Nam have been honoured at the ASEAN Tourism Awards Japan 2019, held annually by the ASEAN-Japan Centre.
The awards were given to 11 tour products to destinations in the ASEAN Member States out of 78 entries. These products were awarded in six categories, including New Destination Award, Luxury Travel Award, Unique Tour Award, Sustainable Tour Award, Mekong Award and Jury’s Special Award. The list was officially announced last week.
In the category Luxury Travel Award, the tour “Discover Việt Nam in Style with Việt Nam Airlines’ Business Class” offers tourists the chance to experience a stylish and luxury getaway across Việt Nam over seven days. Tourists will take a tour to UNESCO World Heritage sites including Hạ Long Bay, Hội An Ancient Town, the Mỹ Sơn Sanctuary and the Complex of Huế Monuments. The tour also fetes visitors with French-influenced Vietnamese cuisine and traditional art performances.
In the category Mekong Award, the tour “Panoramic Experience in Việt Nam” is designed for young, vibrant and active Japanese ladies, according to the ASEAN-Japan Centre’s announcement. The tour also introduces 20 photogenic spots in HCM City. The five-day package includes conveniently located accommodation.
The ASEAN-Japan Centre is an intergovernmental organisation established by the ASEAN Member States and Japan in 1981 to promote exports from the ASEAN bloc and revitalise investment, tourism and people-to-people exchanges between the ASEAN bloc and Japan. — VNS
