HÀ NỘI — Popular designer Nguyễn Công Trí is working on designing the uniforms for flight attendants of Bamboo Airways, which is run by FLC Group.
The designer, with 17 years’ experience, will create uniforms for nearly 200 flight attendants at the newly-established airline, which will launch its first commercial flight on October 10, 2018, from Phù Cát Airport in thecentral province of Bình Thuận.
The airline has said it doesn’t want to use traditional áo dài, but instead incorporate delicate dresses and vests with cut outs on the collar and scarf.
The designer will take particular care with safety, hence the uniforms should be made with fire-retardant materials, that are warm but breathable. The clothes should also be flexible, ensuring staff are comfortable after wearing them on long flights.
