HCM CITY — Zannier Hotels Bãi San Hô in Phú Yên has recently been granted the Green Globe certification, an international certification that assesses the performance of organisations in travel and tourism.
Accordingly, the Green Globe certification honors Zannier Hotels Bãi San Hô’s contributions to environmentally friendly approaches, cultural heritage preservation, and positive economic and social influences.
This international certification acknowledged Zannier Hotels Bãi San Hô as having one of the world’s highest standards of sustainability in tourism. With a specific emphasis on sustainability from the beginning, as seen by things such as a building design utilising natural materials to reduce carbon footprint, 40 per cent of the resort’s electricity coming from solar panels, waste recycling, water recycling plant, motor reduction, etc.
In addition, Zannier Hotels Bãi San Hô places an emphasis on gardening, covering 90 per cent of the resort’s space in an effort to conserve the natural ecosystem, including the ocean, coral, and wildlife.
The resort also actively supports the community by establishing job possibilities, cooperates with businesses under the model of integrated school, and has established a charity fund to support local craftsmen and fishermen. Zannier Hotels Bãi San Hô also sources food from local producers of goods, beverages, and services in order to reduce transportation-related carbon emissions to boost the local economy.
Since its founding in 2020, Zannier Hotels Bãi San Hô has had the privilege of winning numerous honors given by illustrious travel and resort publications such as Condé Nast Traveler, Travel + Leisure, National Geographic, etc.
Following the success of the Green Globe standard certification, Zannier Hotels Bãi San Hô has set long-term commitments, with the goal of achieving the Green Globe's Gold certificate within the next five years, including generating renewable energy to meet 50 per cent of its energy needs by 2025and cut greenhouse gas and CO2 emissions by 45 per cent by 2030.
Zannier Hotels Bãi San Hô, PhúYên belongs to Zannier Hotels group. The resort officially opened and welcomed guests in December 2020.
