HÀ NỘI — Topenland Bình Định continued their busy transfer window with the signing of Hà Đức Chinh on a free.
Chinh put pen to paper on a three-year deal with a salary of VNĐ45 million a month (US$1,988) and a VNĐ2.5 billion ($110,365) yearly bonus.
Chinh’s former club Đà Nẵng wanted to extend his contract which expires at the end of 2021, but both sides failed to meet any agreement in terms of salary and bonuses, leading to the departure of the 24-year-old striker.
Writing on his personal social media account, Chinh expresses his appreciation to his former club: “The time with SHB Đà Nẵng will always be a memorable part of my football career.
“Best regards and thanks to the board, coaching staff, and my teammates at the club who have always helped me wholeheartedly during my time here.
“Wish Đà Nẵng will always be successful and develop in the future. Goodbye!”
Chinh is currently on a short break before focusing on the AFF Cup 2021. During this time, Bình Định and their new signing will complete the final procedures of the transfer.
Hà Đức Chinh is a familiar face of the Việt Nam national squad but has only been the second choice for coach Park who normally opts for Nguyễn Tiến Linh upfront.
Chinh’s highlight in the 2022 World Cup final qualifying round was a chance created for Phan Văn Đức at the end of the 0-1 loss against Saudi Arabia.
The opening V.league transfer market saw Bình Định spend big on many quality signings.
Before Đức Chinh, talented players such as Mạc Hồng Quân and Nghiêm Xuân Tú, both from Quảng Ninh, completed their transfers to the club based in South Central Coast of Việt Nam. — VNS
