High technology to provide premium experience, lift Vietnamese golf industry

HCM CITY — Vietnam Golf Corporation (VG Corp) has officially taken charge of the Hidden Castle Golf Club and signed contracts with partners to bring Vietnamese golf to a new level.

The Hidden Castle Golf Club is a technology golf complex present in many Southeast Asian countries. It was franchised and launched in HCM City in early 2023.

VG Corp owns the largest golf ecosystem in Việt Nam currently. Among its entities are the vHandicap scoring application recognised by the USGA and The R&A, with nearly 100,000 users; and GolfNews – a specialised multimedia channel covering golf, VG Events – organiser of the VGA Tour, Việt Nam Amateur Series and the Asian Development Tour tournament system in Việt Nam.

The decision to invest and take over the five-star technology golf system is part of VG Corp's development strategy to bring practical values ​​and enhance the experience of the Vietnamese golf community, contributing to the development of the local golf industry.

Also, VG Corp signed contracts with K-Golf Global and J-Golf Academy to make these units its official partners in an attempt to lift the national golf industry.

At Hidden Castle Golf Club, athletes will practice with KGolf's Beyond Golf Simulator 2.0, which can simulate ball motion and analyse shots and the player's skills to an accuracy of up to 99 per cent.

The advanced graphic engine delivers unparalleled visual quality and realism that will bring golfers to more than 100 iconic world courses, and compete with golfers in many other countries. 

They will have complete control over the game environment, from course conditions to wind and green speed, for an unmatched level of gameplay authenticity.

The simulator provides precise shot data analysis including ball speed, club speed, launch angle, spin and smash factor. 

Meanwhile J-Golf Academy will take charge of providing professional training programmes for amateur and elite golfers at all levels by PGA-certified coaches. 

"Technology golf is a model that has been developed in many countries around the world and is now gradually becoming popular in Việt Nam," said Võ Duy Nghĩa, VG Corp's Chairman of the Board of Directors, cum General Director.

"Technology golf has potential because it can bring an experience like a real golf course, while integrating analytical technologies to help improve golfers' skills and competitiveness.
