HA NOI — The National Futsal Championships this year, which will kick off from March 17 to June 24, will see two recruits Sanest Tourist Khanh Hoa and Kim Toan Da Nang.
These two teams, alongside Sai Gon FC, Hoang Thu Da Nang and Hai Phuong Nam Phu Nhuan, will compete in the qualifying round in a round-robin format.
The best four teams will compete in the final round with six teams, ranked first to sixth at the national championships last year: Thai Son Nam, Sanna Khanh Hoa, Sanatech Khanh Hoa, Tan Hiep Hung, Cao Bang and Thai Son Bac.
The event’s winner will represent Viet Nam in the AFC Futsal Club Championships. The runner-up will participate in the AFF Futsal Club Championships.
As planned, the draw will be held on March 5. The qualifying round matches will be held from March 17 to March 31 at Military Zone 5 Gymnasium in Da Nang, while the final round will be held in HCM City from April 8 to June 24.
For the first time, the Voice of Viet Nam (VOV) will collaborate with the Viet Nam Football Federation to organise this tournament as well as the Futsal National Cup. — VNS
