HCM CITY – The 2017 National Tennis Championship for the Vietravel Cup has begun at HCM City’s Phu Tho Club.
It has attracted 120 players from 15 cities and provinces, who will play in the men’s and women’s singles and doubles, mixed doubles, and team events.
The matches are shown live on The Thao TV and The Thao Tin Tuc HD channels.
Last year Becamex Binh Duong’s Ly Hoang Nam, who hopes to crack the world’s top 400 this year, won the men’s singles title and the men’s doubles with Nguyen Van Phuong.
Phan Thi Thanh Binh of Da Nang was the winner in both women’s events, the doubles with Do Dan Thi.
The mixed doubles was won by HCM City. – VNS
