HÀ NỘI — The National Youth Badminton Championship started at the Tiên Sơn Sports Complex in the central coastal city of Đà Nẵng over the weekend.
The event attracted participants from 40 teams across the country, competing in four age groups of U11, U13, U15 and U17 categories in girls’ and boys’ singles and doubles, and in mixed doubles events.
The annual tournament offered a good opportunity for young athletes to hone their skills and for coaches to select promising players for the national team.
The championships, which will last until June 30, were co-organised by the National Sports Administration, the Việt Nam Badminton Federation and the Đà Nẵng municipal Department of Culture and Sports. VNS
