HA NOI — SHB Da Nang will test former footballer of Argentina Nicolas Alejandro Dul del Rio to enhance their force for the second leg of the V.League 1.
The 30-year-old player has played for Atletico River Plate Club, a professional Argentine sports club based in the Belgrano neighbourhood of Buenos Aires. He used to play for the Argentina national team.
After leaving Atletico River Plate, Rio played for Pontevedra of Spain, Sarmiento de Junin of Argentina and Kuala Lumpur of Malaysia.
SHB Da Nang had earlier signed contracts with two foreign strikers, Pereira Diogo Junior and Ewode E.Louis Christian. However, after 13 rounds, the team’s training board was dissatisfied with the foreign strikers’ performances.
Da Nang currently has 16 points and rank eighth out of 14 teams in the national premier league.
Da Nang has won the league three times and were runners-up five times. They have also won the National Cup twice. — VNS
