HA NOI — Thai Son Nam and Hai Phuong Nam Phu Nhuan will compete for the title of the Nationa Futsal Cup today in HCM City.
Thai Son Nam yesterday defeated Cao Bang 2-1 in the first semi-final match at the Rach Mieu Gymnasium.
Ngoc Son opened the score for Thai Son Nam with a close-range finish in the eighth minute. Van Trung leveled for Cao Bang eight minutes later after a mess in front of the box.
It was Thai Son Nam who maintained their domination but failed to knock-out Cao Bang who played in defence.
In the penalty shoot-out, Thai Son Nam won 2-1 to grab the final victory.
In the second semis, defending champions Hai Phuong Nam Phu Nhuan defeated Sanna Khanh Hoa 3-2.
Khanh Hoa will face Cao Bang in the third-place play-off for a bronze medal. — VNS
