HÀ NỘI The Football Association of Thailand (FAT) has chosen the Thammasat stadium to host the fixture between Việt Nam and Thailand in the second qualifying round of the 2022 World Cup.
The match is scheduled to take place on September 5.
It is a multi-purpose stadium in the city of Rangsit, Pathum Thani. Built in 1998, the stadium has a total capacity of 25,000 and will also host matches in the 2020 AFC U23 Championship.
Việt Nam are in group G for the second qualifying round with regional rivals Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia, as well as group favourites the United Arab Emirates (UAE). VNS
