HÀ NỘI — Viettel Telecom has announced their broadcasting rights for the UEFA Euro 2024 across all television platforms and social networks within the territory of Việt Nam.
Viettel Telecom's TV360 will be the sole company to bring all images, video clips, and live matches to Vietnamese supporters next summer.
Guy-Laurent Epstein, UEFA Events SA Marketing Director, said UEFA was happy to cooperate with Viettel, which is considered the home of the European national team level tournaments in Việt Nam now. Vietnamese fans will enjoy all matches of the UEFA and UEFA Nations League for six years, from 2023 to 2028, and especially the finals of the UEFA Euro 2024 at the highest quality through Viettel's digital platforms of TV360 and Viettel TV.
UEFA Euro takes place every four years. It is the largest continental tournament in the world and the largest football tournament in 2024, luring the strongest national teams in the world to the competition.
The UEFA Euro finals in recent years have attracted a large number of viewers. According to data from SportPromedia, the 2020 finals reached 5.2 billion viewers.
The number of views of the final match between Italy and England broke the record for the highest number of views for a football match in these two countries. The tournament is the most awaited by sports fans after the FIFA World Cup and a target of every broadcaster in the world.
Previously, TV360 also earned broadcasting rights for other tournaments such as FIFA World Cup 2026 qualification European zone, international friendly matches on home ground of European teams, Finalissima, which is the CONMEBOL-UEFA Cup of Champions, Việt Nam's V-League 1, and national team matches.
TV360 also provides football matches from Bundesliga, Ligue 1, Serie A, and Premier League, as well as other sports such as mixed martial arts, PGA Tour, and ATP Tour. VNS
