Ha Noi — The Viet Nam Tennis Federation (VTF) Masters 500, the Hai Dang Cup, will be held from March 3-10 in Tay Ninh Province.
The first tournament of the VTF series will feature 65 athletes from eight teams competing in the men’s and women’s singles and doubles.
Participants include national No 1 Ly Hoang Nam and rising star Nguyen Van Phuong of Becamex Binh Duong, Daniel Nguyen of Hai Dang Tay Ninh, winner of the VTF Pro Tour 3 Chanelle Van Nguyen and former national team member Pham Minh Tuan who will be back in action after five months, both representing Hung Thinh-HCM City.
In the women’s side, National Games champion Phan Thi Thanh Binh from Da Nang and winner of the Viettravel Cup 2018 Tiffany Linh Nguyen of Becamex Binh Duong will be competing.
Apart from points, there is a prize purse of VND500 million (US$21,500) up for grabs.
