HCM CITY— The HCM City Department of Tourism recently worked with Saigon Tourism Corporation (Saigontourist Group) and People's Committee of Cần Giờ district to organise a tour to Cần Giờ District on September 19.
The tourists included 119 frontline doctors and nurses from other provinces and cities who came to HCM City to support pandemic prevention.
This was a pilot tour for the Cần Giờ District and HCM City tourism industry. It was organized as a closed model, ensuring strict pandemic prevention, with visitors going mainly to tourist attractions in green zones.
The one-day tour was organised and sponsored by Saigontourist Group. All visitors, tour guides and drivers had received two doses of Covid-19 vaccine and have had negative rapid test results.
Pham Huy Binh, chairman of Saigontourist Group, said that after the pilot tour, Saigontourist Group would continue to promote the operation of Cần Giờ tours and other tours at safe destinations for tourists. VNS
