Tourists will have a chance to experience a heritage journey starting from 9.30am, October 13 at Pu Trang Airport, Nghia Lo Town and ending in the afternoon of October 14 at Khao Mang Commune, Mu Cang Chai District.

Participants will enjoy spectacular landscapes at Suoi Giang, Tu Le (Van Tran District), Xa Ren Village (Nghia Lo Town), Khau Pha Pass, local hills (La Pan Tan Commune) and Che Cu Nha (Mu Cang Chai District). They will join locals in various daily activities like harvesting rice, kayaking and making traditional dishes.

Mu Cang Chai terrace rice fields made by the Mong ethnic group cover more than 2,000 ha in local mountains. They attract thousands of visitors each year.

In 2007, 500ha of field in three communes of La Pan Tan, Che Cu Nha and De Xu Phinh were ranked as a national relic site. — VNS
