HCM CITY — Vietnam Dental Tourism JSC has launched the website https://dentaltourism.vn which provides information on leading dental services and tour packages in the country.
On the website, foreign tourists can see a list of dental clinics with modern facilities and experienced and international qualified dentists who offer a full range of dental services, including general check-up, cleaning and polishing, dental implants, crowns or bridges, and porcelain veneers.
The company has worked with travel firms in the city and other provinces to offer integrated dental and tour packages with quality services at reasonable prices.
Nguyen Duc Minh, director of the HCM City Hospital of Odonto-Stomatology, said the new website would help connect dental clinics and travel firms, and promote dental tourism products.
Despite high-quality services with affordable costs, local dentistry has not yet fully explored its potential in luring foreign visitors, Minh said.
Dentistry costs in Viet Nam are about 50 per cent of the rates in developed countries, according to the company.
Nearly 100,000 foreign tourists use dental services in Viet Nam, providing revenues of nearly US$150 million.
Australia, the US, and New Zealand are the top three countries who use dental tourism services in Viet Nam. —VNS
