HCM CITY — A group of 20 travel bloggers, YouTubers, photo stylists and journalists departed yesterday for Amazing Tour 4, a 10-day journey to Turkey.
“Turkey – The Legend Is Real” is this year’s first tour of Amazing Tour, a series of journeys that promote new destinations initiated by the local Travellive Magazine in 2013.
The Amazing Tour has so far collaborated with the General Department of Tourism in countries such as South Korea, Malaysia and the Philippines to promote various tourist destinations.
During the journey, the Amazing Tour will take the group to Turkey’s most celebrated cities, such as Antalya by the Mediterranean Sea, known as the tourist capital of the land of flying carpets; Konya, one of the world’s oldest cities famous for its Seljuk architecture; Cappadocia, a wonder of the world formed by sedimentary and volcanic rocks; and Istanbul, the only city in the world to lie on two continents.
In these cities, the group will discover Antalya Old Town and Sille Old Village, stay overnight in a cave hotel in Cappadocia, see the Underground Cistern, cruise on the Bosphorus Strait, and admire tulips and stroll in the world-famous Grand Bazaar.
The tour members are all travel enthusiasts and pioneers that inspire others in the community to travel, including travel blogger Hoang Le Giang, travel blogger Ly Thanh Co, photographer Ngo Tran Hai An, YouTuber Ngo Huy Hoa, actor Binh An and Miss Viet Nam runner-up 2018 Bui Phuong Nga.
Called “the crossroads of civilisations,” Turkey offers wonderful sites that cannot be found anywhere else. Home to one of the greatest ancient civilisations, Turkey is a land of ancient wonders, legends and architectural masterpieces.
When the “Turkey – The Legend Is Real” tour ends, a series of other activities to promote Turkish images to Vietnamese tourists will be held, including a Turkish tourism information exhibition and a Turkish photo book providing detailed information about destinations, tours and reliable tour operators.
The exhibition from May 3 – 5 at the Saigon Centre in HCM City will display photographs and videos that depict tour members’ hands-on experiences. —VNS
