Vietnamese athletes took the lead in a number of categories on the
opening day of qualifiers for the Aerobic Gymnastics Asian Championships

Nguyen Van Nam''s ninth symphony, Cuu Long Day Song (The Mekong River Rising in Waves), will be performed for the first time tonight at the September Concert at the HCM City Conservatory of Music.
"People always think of eternal beauty and look for

The Viet Nam Book of Records Centre has awarded five
national records to the epic poem Truyen Kieu (The Tale of Kieu) by
Nguyen Du (1766-1820), just ahead of the anniversary of the great poet''s
death on September 16.
