The Viet Nam Football Federation (VFF) has
encouraged the national football team to win at least the silver medal
at the upcoming Southeast Asian (SEA) Games in Singapore this June.
Viet Nam will not be penalised for withdrawing from hosting the 2019
Asiad Games, Deputy Chairman of the Viet Nam Olympic Committee Hoang
Vinh Giang has confirmed.

the man to take it forward over the next five years as the body set its
sights on a Vietnamese gold medal at the 2016 Olympic Games.
The organising board of the 27th Southeast Asian
(SEA) Games has approved the inclusion of Viet Nam''s traditional style
of martial arts, Vovinam, on the sports list. The games will be held in
Myanmar next year.
Viet Nam Olympic Committee leaders will be working to get the
traditional Vietnamese martial art of Vovinam included at the 27th
Southeast Asian (SEA) Games at a two day meeting in Myanmar.
