Various activities have been held since Wednesday in celebration of the
National Tourism Year Connecting World Heritage Sites in Viet Nam hosted
by the central province of Thanh Hoa.
Panama is a country on the isthmus linking
Central and South America. The manmade Panama Canal cuts through its
centre connecting the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans and providing an
essential shipping route.
A competition on the discovery of world heritage sites and traditions
has been launched here to give competitors an opportunity to show off
their knowledge about the capital city''s legacy.
Artist Do Minh Nhan will present 30 watercolour paintings of
UNESCO-recognised World Heritage Sites in the ASEAN-Viet Nam Heritage
Space Programme at the Hoi An Sculpture Garden from June 22-26.
