chance at winning gold at the sixth Senior Art Gymnastics Asian
Championships held in Japan today.

of the women''s vault event at the World Artistic Gymnastics
Championships in China.
Gymnast Phan Thi Ha Thanh of Viet Nam won her second medal, a silver, in
the women''s beam event at the 17th Asian Games (ASIAD) in Incheon,
South Korea yesterday.
Vietnamese Phan Thi Ha Thanh set a personal record
and won a berth in the final round of the World Artistic Gymnastics
Championships which is ongoing in Belgium.
Overseas Vietnamese gymnast Truong Mai Nhat Linh, a member of the
national gymnastics team, will be the sole Vietnamese representative at
the 32nd World Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships in Ukraine from August
28 to September 1.
Phan Thi Ha Thanh became the first Vietnamese
gymnast to win an Asian gold medal after her successful performance at
the Asian Artistic Gymnastics Championships on Tuesday in Fujian
Province, China.
