Viet Nam Television (VTV), in co-operation with its
partners, will broadcast a special live programme next week to mark the
68th Day for Invalids and War Martyrs (July 27).
The successful television series Tuoi Thanh Xuan
(Forever Young) will be aired on South Korean cable channel Story On at
7pm between Tuesday and Thursday from June 23.
Female director Do Bach Duong''s documentary film Ho Chi Minh – Bai Ca
Tu Do (President Ho Chi Minh – Song of Freedom) will be broadcast on
Viet Nam Television next week to celebrate the 125th anniversary of the
President''s birthday.
A programme entiled Millions of Hearts for the
Country kicked off yesterday in Ha Noi aiming to raise funds for
Vietnamese forces stationed on the nation''s coast and islands.
The first episode of the Vietnamese version of well-known South Korean reality show Dad! Where Are We Going? will premiere on Viet Nam Television on Saturday.
Viet Nam Television, Miss World Organisation, BHD Co. Ltd and model
management company, Elite Vietnam, have announced their plan to produce
the reality television show Miss World Viet Nam – Duong Toi Vuong Mien (Road to the Crown).
Thousands of people throughout the country have,
since mid-June, sent photos and text messages to raise funds in support
of people and soldiers working and struggling for the Vietnamese
sovereignty of the Hoang Sa (Paracel) and Truong Sa (Spratly)
archipelagos.
Twelve young singers are competing in the final
round of the popular singing contest Sao Mai Diem Hen (Morning Star -
Rendezvous) hosted by Viet Nam Television.
As many as 15 countries and territories will join
the annual Viet Nam International Exhibition on Film and Television
Technology in HCM City between June 5 and 7, according to Nguyen Thanh
Luong, deputy general director of Viet Nam Television.
