HCM CITY — Hotel Equatorial welcomes back Greek-Australian George Diakomichalis, a talented celebrity chef who will be showcasing traditional Greek cuisine at the special four-day culinary event It’s All Greek to Me, now in its third season in HCM City.
Recently named the Best Pastry Chef of Australia 2019, Diakomichalis is a fourth-generation chef in his family. He has infectious energy and a bright welcoming smile. Renowned for the quality of his pastries and impeccable hospitality, he is the personification of popularity.
His passion for desserts saw him open Adelaide’s Kalymnos Pastries, often cited as South Australia’s best patisserie, in 1995. His entertaining, friendly and informative presenting style has landed him guest spots on a variety of TV shows including Meraki TV, as well as his own show It’s All Greek to Me.
Returning to HCM City this year, chef George hosts a culinary journey for lovers of Greek cuisine on November 7 – 10.
